We are a National Specialty Pharmacy serving the needs of our members since 2003. PharmBlue is a pharmacy services organization that provides personalized care to a specialized client and patient population, and the clinicians who serve them. We serve thousands of enrolled members throughout the country and fill all member pharmacy needs with a special focus on HIV and AIDS, Hepatitis C, and Behavioral Health members.
Our original pharmacy was founded in 2003 in a small farming community called Evans City, north of Pittsburgh, PA. The founder, was involved in a research project studying patients with HCV. Many of these patients struggled to gain access to healthcare. He and his family started a pharmacy on the family farm, in a converted chicken coop, to help take care of these patients. Every day, they would deliver needed medications to these patients all over the Pittsburgh area.
The pharmacy gained a loyal following. Because of the focus on HCV, the pharmacy staff became expert in not only the treatment of HCV, but of commonly related conditions. Many of these patients had coinfections of HIV and an almost equal number had multiple diagnosed behavioral health conditions. We have never forgotten our roots. Today, we continue to focus on the needs of patients with multiple chronic conditions.
Joseph P. Pohl III
Joe is the Chief Executive Officer of PharmBlue, being named to the position after serving as PharmBlue’s General Counsel, and prior to that, acting as one of PharmBlue’s regular outside attorneys since its founding.
As the General Counsel to PharmBlue, Joe handled a variety of legal issues facing the company, in areas including but not limited to corporate, contract, employment and regulatory law, as well as litigation and corporate transactions. He also worked closely with other senior executives at the company to develop and execute on strategic and day-to-day plans for the business.
Prior to joining PharmBlue, Joe spent 19 years in private law firm practice, focusing on business and corporate litigation, financial services litigation and healthcare litigation in federal and state courts and arbitrations. He also represented clients in internal investigations, responding to various federal and state regulatory inquiries, and defending against class action lawsuits.
During his career in private legal practice, Joe served two 6 month “secondments”—acting as dedicated in-house counsel to clients for sixth month periods—one for Bank of America’s Global Wealth and Investment Management (“GWIM”) group, handling pre-litigation customer complaints, regulatory inquires and internal investigations for Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust, and one for the PNC Financial Services, Inc.’s government and regulatory enforcement group, assisting with internal and regulatory investigations across various lines of PNC’s business.
Joe earned a B.A. in Economics and Computer Applications, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He was selected for Phi Beta Kappa at Notre Dame, and was named to the Order of the Coif and the Law Review at Pitt Law. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and before all courts of Commonwealth, as well as the United Stated District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Joe is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Allegheny County Bar Association and the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy.
Louis E. Dell'Olio
Vice President and Managing Pharmacist
Mr. Dell’Olio previously served as the Director of Contract Management for Integrated Pharmacy Solutions. In the position, he provided oversight management to multiple accounts and projects, including 340B health center and community retail pharmacy programs.
Prior to serving in the position, he served as the Executive Director for the State Office of Pharmacy Services. Under his leadership, over 24,000 patients across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts received comprehensive pharmacy services. Prior to that he was Pharmacy Director, Mental Health Department, Worcester State Hospital.
Mr. Dell’Olio has over 35 years of experience in the health care industry specializing in managerial, administrative and operations within the area of pharmacy practice and administration. His background also includes Director of a Psycho-Geriatric & Special Needs Program, Director of Ancillary Medical and Support Services, Director of Hospital Pharmacy. Louis has experience in acute and long term care pharmacy operations, mail-order pharmacy programs, clinical pharmacy services and 340B program implementation. He is also experienced in JCAHO, Title XIX and URAC compliance
Louis graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Services with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and has completed a Masters in Business Administration.
Board of Advisors
Mr. Nelson has a long history of entrepreneurship and in managing high growth companies. He is a founder of PharmBlue Holdings LLC, created to acquire and build excellence in pharmacy and related services. He is Chairman of PharmBlue Holdings and was previously CEO of PharmBlue LLC and RX Blue Star Solutions LLC. He is Founder and CEO of Redwind Innovations LLC, an advisory firm focused on technology-based innovation and early stage investing.
Recently President, Director and COO of Raleigh-based RadarFind Corporation, a high growth technology company serving the health care market. He oversaw all aspects of this company including direct and channel sales, marketing, hardware/firmware/software engineering, implementation & training and supply chain. Under his direction installations doubled, sales increased tenfold and production and new product development increased accordingly. He drove the acquisition of this company by Teletracking Technologies, Inc.
Prior to RadarFind, Mr. Nelson was President and Director of Boston-based Injured Workers Pharmacy, L.L.C. (“IWP”), a high growth national pharmacy serving the needs of patients in the Workers’ Compensation system, and specializing in drug therapy protocols for pain management. He was responsible for all operational and strategic aspects of this company. Under Mr. Nelson’s direction, IWP has seen significant growth in sales and EBITDA margin as a result of new product offerings and an expansion of the existing sales force. He attracted 3 offers to purchase IWP from private equity investors.
He earned his BS from the University of Pittsburgh and his MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
National Sales Manager
For the last ten years, Gabriel has worked in the specialty pharmacy services space with behavioral health, FQHC, ASO, and primary care organizations. He values spending time with the executives, all the way down to the front-line care providers, in order to understand their needs and how to best provide services to both their staff and their clients.
During his career, he has placed more than one hundred programs around the country. He is proud to say that all those programs are still active today. Gabriel’s passion is visiting healthcare facilities, learning everything he can about their needs, and then proposing the program that provides the maximum benefit to the clients and staff. He has developed some truly great clients, as well as life-long friendships, over the years. He would love to add you to the list of organizations he has helped.
Regional Sales Representative
Westin graduated from the Business school at University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in December of 2016. His major was Marketing and he had an extensive focus on sales inside and outside of the classroom. Westin is based out of Chicago, Illinois, but will also cover Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. He is extremely motivated and will go above and beyond to help our current clients and portray Pharmblue’s extraordinary services to capture new ones.
Regional Sales Representative
Tina is the Regional Sales Representative over the Southwest Region. Her territory includes Arizona, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. As an Oklahoma native, she pursued her BBA in finance at the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining PharmBlue, Tina was a multi-site Operations Director for a leading urgent care and occupational health organization. Tina focuses on using her background and knowledge in clinic operations to help create pharmacy solutions for her clients to enhance their patient’s overall clinical experience. When she’s not servicing her clients and their patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, fitness, and trying new restaurants in her hometown of Dallas, Texas.
Regional Sales Representative
Karla is the Regional Sales Representative over the Mid-Atlantic Region. Her territory includes Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware and New Jersey.
She is a Pennsylvania native where she earned a BS in Biology from Gannon University, a BS in Education from Edinboro University and also obtained a Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh where she currently resides.
Karla brings twenty-five years of health care experience to the Pharmblue Team, practicing Pharmacy in both the hospital and retail setting. She has first- hand knowledge of the integral relationship between patient, provider and pharmacist guides her in assisting clients manage the complex medication needs of patients. Karla continues to be an active member of the Pennsylvania Pharmacist Association, National Science Teachers Association and the Pennsylvania State Education Association.
In her free time Karla focuses on family, fitness and furthering the causes that she values. She has been a “Big Sister” in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters mentoring program. She is a dog-walker and loves all animals.
Regional Sales Representative
Originally from the New York City area, Bill will be overseeing the Northeast Region of the United States which includes, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. He has received a BS in Economics with a concentration in History from Allegheny College and has also studied at California University of Pennsylvania and the Community College of Allegheny County. Bill has developed a successful career partnering with various types of small, medium and large organizations with accounts as small as few people to very large accounts, such as the H.J. Heinz Corporation. Prior to joining PharmBlue, Bill was a pharmaceutical sales representative for Teva Pharmaceuticals and Vernalis Therapeutics. He enjoys spending time with his family, fitness, golf and even performs in a rock band.

Hilary A. Szczypiorski received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. She has worked in pharmacy for 11 years. Her previous experience includes retail and long term care pharmacy.
Anna received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from LECOM School of Pharmacy. She has worked in pharmacy for 5 years. Her previous experience includes hospital and long term care.
Bobby Clay received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston. Bobby has served in various leadership roles within multiple community pharmacy organizations. His previous experience includes serving as Director of Pharmacy for a 6,000 bed correctional complex.
Ashley received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University. Her previous experience includes retail pharmacy.
Christina received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas. She has worked in pharmacy for more than 16 years. Her previous experience includes Indian Health Service, Medical Information and Retail Pharmacy.

Nikita received her Master of Pharmacy from L M College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad, India. Her previous experience includes 14 years in retail pharmacy.
Megan Elias Masse
Megan received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island. She has worked in pharmacy for 10 years. Her previous experience includes retail pharmacy CVS Health and ambulatory care at the University of Rhode Island Health Services Pharmacy.
Clinton Sanders received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy. His previous experience includes more than 10 years of managing retail chain pharmacies.
Cathy Vance received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. She has worked in pharmacy for 12 years with previous experience in retail pharmacy.
